Classic bruschetta



Felt a little homesick for familiar flavours, so bought some fresh basil for the garden and made basic bruschetta.



2 tomatoes, chopped

1-2 cloves garlic, minced

1-2 tb extra virgin olive oil

1 ts balsamic vinegar

3-4 fresh basil leaves from my garden, chopped

S&P


Mix above ingredients together and season with salt and pepper.

Toast baguette slices, rub garlic on one side and drizzle with some olive oil. Place tomato mixture on top. Garnish with basil leaves.
